China-Connection has established a "pyramid" structure of supply base for each manufacturing process. Selected suppliers were evaluated by our team consisting of purchasers, engineers and quality engineers. For each request from our customers, "right" suppliers are identified for quotation and engineering meetings. Sustainable and reliable supply chain is guaranteed by "backup suppliers" strategy. Supply base is fine-tuned continuously in our daily operations to maintain and improve its competitiveness.

Our member supplier capacity is evaluated before ordering. All suppliers are required to fill out "China-Connection Production Planning Form" for each order. Purchasers, quality controllers and engineers are engaged in checking/enforcing the fulfillment of the production planning. The production progress is updated every week. "Dispersed orders" strategy might be implemented depending on the capacity of the main suppliers. Safety stocks are built up in China to guarantee the on-time delivery.

Customer quality requirements are understood and documented during sampling stage for each product in the ERP system. Quality control program of each product is developed by QA to guide the daily operation of quality controllers. Quality is checked by China-Connection quality controllers through the whole manufacturing process from sampling stage to mass production (first article inspection, in-process controls and final inspection). In some cases, quality inspection forms were developed by China-Connection and used by the suppliers during the process of manufacturing. Suppliers are required to provide the material certificates and quality inspection reports for each order. Suppliers are guided and coached by our quality assurers and controllers to improve their quality control capability.

China-Connection coordinates proactively with our customers in managing the logistics. Forwarders are selected jointly by China-Connection to provide the logistics services. We conduct volume consolidation to lower down the logistics cost for our customers. Packaging guidelines are developed by China-Connection and implemented by all the member suppliers. We are able to provide European standard or American standard pallets.

Each product is manufactured under the guideline of China-Connection engineering team. We select the most suitable manufacturing process for each product together with our member supplier. Drawings, specifications, manufacturing processes and quality control programs are documented before the mass production. Technical problems are solved on continuous engineering review meetings between China-Connection engineering team and the suppliers. AUTOCAD drawings can be developed according to samples. We support our member suppliers in improving their technical capability.
